Nestled in the heart of the South Downs it is the ideal place to unwind. We are on hand to ensure your stay is comfortable and relaxing

Rubens Barn was built in the 17th century and converted by its current owners, Rob & Rachel Hill. Located in an area of outstanding natural beauty within the South Downs National Park, this beautifully converted barn offers you a very warm welcome.

We want to ensure that all our guests have a superb experience which is why we have paid particular attention to create a home away from home, self-catering accommodation. When we visit places around the world we understand how lovely it is to have a welcome breakfast hamper and Rachel loves creating hers for our guests from local producers.

Luxury & well equipped facilities

Sit out on the neat little patio through the French windows, enjoy a game of tennis (rackets and balls provided), borrow the barbecue. The barn is surrounded by farmland and forests hidden within The Goodwood Estate - perfect for hikers, cyclists, and nature lovers to explore the stunning area.

The countryside here is quite stunning - gently rolling and very pretty. This is a safe and happy spot to bring children and your dog with woods to make dens in, a tennis court for safe play and some great walking paths to join. The coast isn't far either. Rob and Rachel are the kindest hosts.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rubens Barn. The barn is comfortable & relaxing and we both felt v chilled out. It had everything we needed and the welcome hamper was indeed most "welcome"! Everything was absolutely spotless and the kingsize bed was super comfy.
