This 17th-century barn conversion, complete with a private tennis court, is the ideal retreat for relaxation and comfort. Positioned within easy access to the historic Roman city of Chichester, Petworth, Arundel, and Goodwood, it offers the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience.

With so much to do in and around the local area, Ruben's Barn is the perfect place for a family holiday or a romantic getaway. We are dog friendly & there are plenty of walks on your doorstep.

A beautifully converted 17th century barn in an idyllic setting, with stunning views across the rolling countryside, right in the middle of the South Downs National Park. This luxury self-catering home-from-home sleeps up to six people and has a fully fitted kitchen, dining and living area. There is a fully enclosed garden and off road parking for up to three cars.

Rubens Barn is the perfect base to explore this beautiful part of Sussex in the middle of the South Downs. Bring dogs and children for fabulous walking on the South Downs Way. Stock up at an excellent farm shop, walk to the pub for supper, wander back to watch the night sky when it’s clear – there’s very little light pollution here.

This being our first time going off the hotel trail in the South/South West of the UK on our travels we were excited to see what Rubens Barn had to offer. The property didn't disappoint. It was beautifully finished off to a high standard and had all the modern facilities you would want in a rental/hotel room. The real charming aspect was the bath in the converted attic space, you could sit and read while soaking in the bath and hear the world go by, and with the week that was in it the odd sportscar.

Lovely cottage that matches the description given. The fenced garden meant that the dogs could roam free without any fear of them escaping. Very nice welcome pack of quality Waitrose groceries which provided a more than adequate breakfast for two days.
